Second Harvest of Silicon Valley

Second Harvest of Silicon Valley’s mission is to end hunger in our community. We distribute food through a network of nearly 400 partners at more than 900 sites across Santa Clara and San Mateo counties, leveraging every available food resource, and collaborating with organizations and people who share our belief that hunger is unacceptable. Second Harvest also operates a home delivery program for homebound clients, runs a multilingual food connection hotline, connects clients to federal nutrition programs and other food resources, and advocates for anti-hunger policies on the local, state, and national levels. We believe nutritious food is the foundation for a healthy, productive life.

A staggering 500,000 people receive food from Second Harvest programs every month – that’s 1 in 6 people in our community. We are honored to work in partnership with Aqui Cal-Mex restaurants to work towards a hunger-free community and combat food insecurity together!

You can get involved by donating, volunteering, starting a fundraiser or spreading the word about the resources available through Second Harvest!
